Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The Three Valley Massage therapist uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle, focusing on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
